November projects

Here are a few of the projects that I have made this month.
This first one was a birthday card for my Mom`s friend.  I saw a similar card on Heather Summers blog and wanted to switch the colours up a bit and make it my own.  They go out for coffee on a regular basis and I thought that this stamp set "Morning Cup" would be perfect.
Next, is a birthday card that I made for my best friend, Tara, for her 35th... hopefully, the card will arrive in the mail before she sees this post!!
It is hard to see in the picture, but the message
on the front of the card says "This is no day for just a slice!".
I love the perfect polka dots textured impressions pad and I use it quite often.  The images are from the level 1 hostess stamp set "Birthday Bakery".  I really love Stampin`Up! products because all of the card stock, designer paper, buttons, eyelets, brads, ribbon, ink pads, pastels and markers go together. The colours
are consistent from one item to the next and this is just one of the reasons that Stampin`Up! is such an amazing company.
This final project is a little book that I made yesterday to keep in my purse while I do my Christmas shopping.  I used the "Jolly Holiday" designer series paper, which is in our new 2010-2011 Idea Book and Catalogue.  I covered the front and back of the 4 x 4 inch chipboard pieces and accented it with an ornament, stamped in Old Olive from the "Delightful Decorations" stamp set.  I also used the Early Espresso 1/8 inch taffeta ribbon and some pearls to decorate. The numbers are not an SU! product, however the colour matches perfectly.
Thank you for taking the time to look at my projects and please check back soon for more.
